The Modular Commercial Energy Storage System (C&I ESS) is an advanced, all-in-one energy storage solution designed for commercial and industrial applications such as factories, business parks, commercial buildings, renewable energy integration, and grid support scenarios. It is engineered to improve energy efficiency, reduce electricity costs, and enhance power reliability through intelligent energy management and scalable storage architecture.
This system adopts a highly integrated modular design that combines key components such as lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs, power conversion system (PCS), energy management system (EMS), battery management system (BMS), liquid cooling system, and fire protection system into a single cabinet structure. The integration significantly simplifies installation, reduces commissioning time, and lowers overall maintenance costs.

One of the core strengths of the C&I ESS is its flexibility and scalability. The system can be deployed as a single unit or expanded through parallel connection of multiple cabinets, allowing capacity to grow according to project requirements. This makes it suitable for both small and large-scale commercial energy storage projects, as well as distributed microgrid applications.
In terms of performance, the system typically provides around 100 kW rated AC power with energy capacity up to approximately 218 kWh per unit, depending on configuration. It supports grid-tied and off-grid operation modes, enabling seamless switching between utility power, photovoltaic (PV) systems, and backup generators. This hybrid compatibility ensures uninterrupted power supply even during grid instability or outages.
Safety and reliability are key design priorities. The system uses high-quality LFP battery cells known for long cycle life, thermal stability, and enhanced safety characteristics. It is equipped with multiple protection mechanisms including over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, temperature monitoring, and fault isolation. The cabinet is designed with high protection ratings (such as IP54/IP55), making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Thermal management is achieved through an advanced liquid cooling system that maintains optimal operating temperature, improves energy efficiency, and extends battery lifespan. Combined with intelligent EMS software, the system enables real-time monitoring, energy scheduling, peak shaving, valley filling, demand management, and remote operation via cloud platforms.

Application scenarios include peak load shifting in industrial facilities, energy cost optimization in commercial buildings, renewable energy storage for solar and wind systems, backup power for critical infrastructure, and EV charging station support. By storing electricity during low-cost periods and discharging during peak demand, the system helps users significantly reduce electricity expenses while supporting carbon reduction goals.
Overall, the Modular C&I Energy Storage System represents a modern, intelligent, and flexible energy solution that supports the transition toward sustainable and efficient power usage across commercial and industrial sectors.
